Mt.Arjuno ( or Mount Arjuna , the ancient name ) is located in Malang , East Java , Strato -type with a height of 3,339 m above sea level and is under the management of Forest Park Raden Soeryo . This is usually accomplished mountain climb of three well-known point that is of Lawang , Tretes and Stone . Arjuno name comes from one of the puppet characters of Mahabharata , Arjuna .

Mt.Arjuno adjacent to Mount Welirang . Mt.Arjuno peak lies on the same ridge to the top of the mountain Welirang . Apart from the above two places Mt.Arjuno can climb from various other directions . Mount is located west of Batu , East Java is also a climbing destination . In addition to the height that has reached more than 3000 meters , in the mountains there are several attractions . One is the attraction Grandfather Bodo waterfall which is also one of the hiking trail to the summit of Mount Arjuno . Although besides attraction Grandfather Bodo waterfall there is also another waterfall , but the tourists rarely come to other waterfalls , perhaps because of the location and tourist facilities are less supportive .

Mt.Arjuno have Dipterokarp forest hill , forest Dipterokarp Top , Montane forest , and forest Ericaceous or mountain forest .

Mt.Arjuno can climb and a variety of directions , the direction of North ( Tretes ) through Mount Welirang , and the East ( Lawang ) and from the west ( Batu - Selecta ) , and south ( Karangploso ) , also from Sumberawan , Singosari . Sumberawan village is the village handicraft centers in the district Singosari and is the last village to prepare yourself before starting the climb . It could also pass Purwosari more easily bypassed , because it is only half an hour from the highway and straight up in Tambakwatu .
